First H1N1 flu vaccinations goes to China :
China began a mass vaccination programme on Monday (21/09/09), with around 100,000 students in Beijing due to be given the shots initially. This is reported as the first H1N1 vaccination successfully appled in the world.

Sunday (September 20, 2009) is the first day of Eid Al Fitr in the UAE.

It is officially declared that the Eid in Kerala will be on Monday, 21st September, 2009.

Eid - First day of Shawwal declaration tomorrow :
The UAE moon-sighting committee will meet on Saturday, September 19, to examine the data collected by moon-sighting experts to announce the first day of Shawwal.

Mild earthquake at Kerala:

Thiruvananthaputam, the state capital of Kerala (India), witnessed an earth quake near about 6.35 pm. today (18 Sep, 09) It measured 3.4 in the rictor scale and for 3 seconds duration. No accidents reported so far.
